As a Frontend Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and tools. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences and scalable product features. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality frontend features and business tools in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Work with technology and products team alongside other cross-functional teams, to iterate on product features and enhancements.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to internal standards and industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and to mentor team members.
- Consistently deliver small features and improvements with minimal supervision while contributing to larger projects as part of the team.
- Continuously improve the frontend experience of our products by identifying and resolving issues in usability, performance, and scalability.
- Proactively identify and advocate for improvements across the codebase and development process.
- Possess up-to-date knowledge and experience with the following technologies; Among others, JavaScript, Typescript, React, AntD, Tailwind CSS, Git, Jira, and Slack.
- Collaborate with, mentor and teach other Frontend Engineers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development, with a good understanding of responsive design and modern web development practices.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React, Ant Design (AntD), and Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and agile workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Slack).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and frontend performance optimisation techniques.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in tech communities is a plus.
